Eric Goldstein is an associate professor at Emory University, where he holds a joint appointment in the Department of History and the Tam Institute for Jewish Studies. He is the author of The Price of Whiteness: Jews, Race, and American Identity (Princeton University Press, 2006). He specializes in American Jewish history and culture, modern Jewish history, and American social and cultural history (19th and 20th centuries). He holds a doctorate from the University of Michigan.
